I am writing to ask you all to be in agreement with us for Billy, my brother who is 29 years old, healing. He is currently in mental hospital in Wichita Falls, TX. He has been there since early November 2005. This is the second time he has been hospitalized. And I want it to be the LAST!!! My brother has been dealing with a mental illness for almost 9 years. He has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and bipolar/manic depression. In fact, it was around August of 1997 when my family began to recognize that my brother was showing signs of his mental illness. I don’t want another year to go by with this illness distorting Billy’s thoughts. Throughout the past 9 years, I have been angry at the situation and determined to see my brother completely restored. The word restoration means: “bring back to its original state to be used for its intended purpose.” I know that the Lord wants to restore my brother!
My brother Billy has an awesome calling of God on his life. The past 9 years have been terribly draining on my family emotionally & physically. 9 years have been stolen from him and our family. His dreams have been put on hold. As his mind has been in constant torment. Although, our faith has continued to grow and we have been stretched and strengthened in the midst of it all. Billy has always sought the Lord and has always wanted to serve Him. God is so faithful.
If you could commit to pray for Billy at 12:07 PM everyday during the workweek, (Billy’s birthday is December 7th and I thought it would be easier to remember plus it is usually when most of us will be eating lunch). I am confident that we will start to see his healing begin and total restoration of his mind. I would really appreciate your prayers. My brother (Eugene Labrecque) is in the very final stages of a very aggressive pancreatic cancer and has been given days to live. He has lost over 100 pounds. I flew up to see him to pray and lay hands on him a couple of weekends ago. The cancer has grown and is now collapsing his stomach so that he is no longer able to eat solids and can't even keep fluids down. He vomits almost everything up. Almost every day, I have thanked God for his healing and pray this healing will soon begin to manifest itself in his physical body. I pray Mark 16: 16-18 “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved and these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Please join me in believing by faith that he is healed. Thank God for this site. Please pray for my brother Eugene J. He is on the respiratory since 9/11/06. He developed raging pnenemonia after surgery on a hernia he had had for year. He is a heavy smoker and drinker. Please pray he comes out of this situation soon, and comes home clean and a better husband. He has grown mean after he was diagnosed with cancer. Please pray for my twin sister, who is younger than me, that she can quit drinking so much and be there for her 3-year old daughter. She just got her daughter back after the county took her away from her for being in a domestic violence relationship, and she was gone from us for a year. Please pray for my brother, Maurice. He has just had surgery and is in recovery. He was diagnosed with Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) . He has been treated for this disease since January with massive doses of steroids and platelet tranfusions. The side effects of steroids over long periods of time in the doses that he was on was of great concern to his physicians and they felt that the best course of action was to remove his spleen.
I know little about the spleen except that its primary function is to remove unwanted materials from the blood and acts as a filtration system. It also helps to fight infection and performs other lesser functions. Maurices spleen was working overtime by eating up his platlets. As as result, his platelet count has been as low as 3. A normal adults platelet count is 150,000 to 350,000. His surgery was postponed three times because they could not operate until his count reached at least 30. Today that happened.
There is no "cure" for this disease and treatment is all we have at this time. It is his physicians hope, and mine and my family's as well, that by removing his spleen his platelet count will rise and he will not need these tranfusions, which can take as long as 36 hours, more than once or twice a year. I pray that is true.
As expected, this handsome, athletic, accomplished man has become depressed. Just nine months ago, my Father passed away. Two months ago, my Mother's sister passed away. A year and a half ago, Maurice's best friend died. I am sure that the uncertainty of his own plight as well as thoughts of his friend, Dad and Aunt deaths weigh heavily on his mind. All of this occupies my thoughts, even while I tend to daily life.
The good news is that while his count was 30 at the beginning of surgery, it rose to 156 while he was in recovery. He is in ICU and will have to be there for several days.

Please pray for my brother B. He was on a trip to NY with a friend and decided to stay on an extended trip alone. He had $10 left and his bank was 30 miles away. He never made it to the bank. Instead he was homeless for 4-5 days under the brooklyn bridge. He was found by a police officer dazed and confused. I have no idea what happened to him. He returns Wednesday. Psychiatrist recommends abortion. Please pray for Gods guidance in this area. I know it is not his plan for her to have an abortion. The situation is where when her last baby was 1 month old she was taken away and put into foster care after an accident caused her to get a broken arm. The state has kept the baby in the system for almost a year now. My brother and sister in law have done everything the state has asked in order to get the baby back but they keep asking them to take more classes and jump through more hoops. They are now pregnant again and the psychiatrist has recommended that if they ever want to get their daughter back to have an abortion, because they do not think it is healthy for her to have another child. Please join me in prayer that God will clear the path for them to get their daughter back and to have a healthy full term pregnancy.

My sister Ann Marie is so strong and so brave. I sometimes look at her or think about her and wonder in amazement how she goes on each day. Ann Marie is a person of faith, a person who believes God has a plan for her and her beautiful family. My sisters husband was diagnoised with cancer about 2 years ago and has been batteling this demon ever since. Ann Marie and Pat have 3 wonderful childern. 2 are away at school and 1 is home with her and Pat. I ask and pray that during these difficult times that my sister is able to continue to be strong, brave, and continues to hold on to her faith. I ask for prayers to help ease her and her familys pain and I mostly pray and ask for prayers for Pats healing. I have faith it will come. Pray it comes soon.

my brothers retina has got detached twice and he underwent operation twice for the retina but the operation has not been successful. Please pray for a miracle that the retina gets attached and that he may 100% vision in his eye.
My mother is going through Chemo. She's only 52 and still needed by her family everyday. My oldest sister is on Drugs ( to help her cope I guess and our other sibling has all but run away from the issue). I know everyone is afraid. We are all still really young and we're clueless without our mother. Please pray away her cancer. Help my older sister find peace for her soul and fulfillment without liquor or drugs. Help me sustain. He me to be strong for everybody. Help me continue to help my mother. I want to offer her a steady hand and encouragement when she needs it the most. Please help my other sister to feel ok and stop running away from us. Please help me keep our family together.
